This two day taster course is perfect for those who would like some insight into becoming a florist,

but aren’t quite ready to make the leap and commit to a full time/ intensive course. Or for those

who just simply love flowers and would like to gain a little more knowledge, tips and techniques on

how to create a perfect display. We will arm you with some basic skills over the two days. We will

cover the first steps in becoming a florist, looking at an overview of the industry today with British

flowers vs imported flowers. You will watch demonstrations and take part in practicals of how to

create the following:

● Seasonal Hand- tied Bouquet

● Vintage Urn/ Vase Display

We will then finish the two days with a group exercise in creating a seasonal floral tablescape,

whereby you will then take home your piece of the centrepiece. There will be plenty of

opportunities to photograph your work over the two days.

This weekend course will include all flowers/ foliage and mechanics to make your arrangements.

You will also receive a tote bag and floral Journal. Tea, Coffee or cold drinks will be provided along

with a slice of yummy local cake and sweet treats.
