As well as using our own grown blooms, we work with British and local Sussex flower growers to bring you the most beautiful seasonal blooms on a weekly basis. Thus, helping to reduce our carbon footprint by not importing so many flowers. *(However, there may be occasions where this may be necessary to import flowers for specific requests where certain local flowers do not grow in the UK and or are out of season.) But we will do our best to look to source all ingredients locally where possible.

We are a sustainable florist and will not use any cellophane or plastic in our bouquet wrappings and where possible with our larger displays will not use any floral foam but will look to use other alternative mechanics to create the displays and installations such as: Copper chicken wire, floral frog pins, moss and naturally made mechanics such as grape vine for wreath making.

Re-use, Recycle & Refill

We operate a reuse and refill policy here at Floral Salvage, whereby any vases, pots, Jam Jars, or vessels purchased from us will automatically qualify for a 10% discount when re- ordering flowers to re- fill such items. 

(At the time of requesting a refill and to qualify for the ongoing 10% discount, you will be required to show proof of purchase for one of our vases, pots, Jam Jars, or vessels you have chosen)

As a sustainable florist we encourage the re- use of vintage vases, pots & re cycled Jam Jars. This helps to eliminate the need for such items being used in landfill. In addition, such vintage & re- used items can also enhance your chosen floral display and showcase them as a ‘work of art’ complimenting any interior design scheme.
